RRBG Campaign Launching Ceremony 2015

Fight against intellectual property (IP) infringement in the country can help achieve the goal to become a middle income country by 2021, said experts at the launching ceremony of ‘RRBG Campaign’.

Intellectual Property Association of Bangladesh (IPAB) on Saturday (June 13, 2013) launched a campaign to fight against IP infringement in the country. Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed MP inaugurated the campaign as chief guest where Dhaka north city mayor Annisul Huq attended the program as special guest.

The objectives of the campaign titled ‘RRBG-Nokol Rudhbo, Chorachalan Rukhbo, Rajossho Barabo, Desh Gorbo’- is to enhance public awareness, facilitate legal enforcement and support the government for making effective formulation of regulations in order to ensure Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) in the country. The scope of the campaign is to fight against IP infringements of all products especially on counterfeiting and smuggling. A primary publication on sector-wise research is published on this day for the greater interest of the stakeholders.

Country’s 28 business sectors will work together under this campaign for the progress of the country. IPAB believes the successful execution of the campaign would help the economy to become a middle income nation by the year 2021.
